Plans

A plan is the deal: speed, price and billing cycle. Change a plan and everyone on it follows.

Services

A service is how a subscriber connects, such as PPPoE for home broadband or a hotspot for walk-up customers.

Sessions

A session is one live connection, with a start time, a duration and a data count. It is what you act on when you suspend or reconnect someone.
