Cutting off an unpaid customer feels firm. A payment page usually works better.

The idea

Instead of disconnecting an unpaid subscriber, limit them so they can reach only a payment page.

Why it works

• Paying is one tap away
• The customer knows exactly why they are limited
• They are reconnected as soon as they pay

Set it up well

• Choose a grace period that is fair but not endless
• Send a reminder before the limit starts
• Make the payment page show the amount and the due date
• Reconnect automatically on payment
